National Association of Home Builders
Mission: National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) exists to represent the building industry by serving its members and affiliated state and local builders associations. To achieve an overall mission of member satisfaction, NAHB concentrates on the following goals:
- Balanced national legislative, regulatory, and judicial public policy.
- Public appreciation for the importance of housing and those who provide it.
- The premier resource for industry information, education, research, and technical expertise.
- Improved business performance of its members and affiliates.
- Effective management of staff, financial, and physical resources to satisfy the association’s needs.
Being a member of the National Association of Home Builders gives us access to research, breaking technology, a political voice, education, conference, seminars and a resource for information. We value being a member of the National Association of Home Builders and feel it gives us the opportunity to be current on issues and a national basis.
Builder 20 Clubs
The 20 Clubs are comprised of similar type builders or remodelers from non-competing markets who meet several times a year to share their wisdom and learn from each other ways to improve their operations and increase their bottom lines. Members share and compare financial information, look for trouble spots, and offer each other advice on how to increase their profit ratios and improve their performance.
The 20 Clubs are a unique networking and educational opportunity designed to help members maximize the benefit of NAHB membership. We joined a Builder 20 group through the National Association of Home Builders and meet twice a year with this group to exchange ideas, issues and to discuss better ways of running our business. We were a founding member of “the Doors” 20 group in 1995 and feel it is the most valuable tool we have had over the years of growing our company both internally and externally. We look forward to many more years of membership in this great group!
Missoula Building Industry Association
The MBIA is a nonprofit association of building industry professionals promoting high standards and integrity through education and investment in the community where we live and work.
The Missoula Building Industry Association promotes quality housing, professional practices, and a healthy, responsible building industry to benefit its members and the community.
MBIA is the local association that is affiliated with the National NAHB. We enjoy being involved as a way to keep informed of new issues, products, and people involved in our Missoula Building Industry. We are a regular entry in the Parade of Homes and the annual Home Show sponsored by the MBIA. We also take part in the Annual Denim & Diamonds Charity Auction that raises money for local charitable organizations in our Missoula community.
Registered Contractor
The mission of the Independent Contractor Central Unit is to educate and enforce fairness for Montana’s businesses and workers.
Being a member of the Independent Contractor program is an honor. This program is a method to assure that all contractors not only play by the rules but play by the same rules. By being the watchdog for the industry the Independent Contractor program protects each employee, subcontractor, contractor, and client.
Missoula Chamber of Commerce
The mission of the Missoula Area Chamber of Commerce is to preserve and advance the quality of life in Missoula by advocating for a healthy, responsible, and diverse business environment and by providing resources that help businesses succeed. The organization is extremely active in promoting Missoula through events, membership, political involvement and education. We participate in the events that occur over the course of the year and are proud of our affiliation with the Chamber and Missoula business community.
GuildQuality
GuildQuality provides customer satisfaction surveying and reporting for homebuilders, remodelers, and real estate developers. Our membership helps us survey our clients to collect valuable feedback on our processes and end product. One of the great benefits of membership with this organization is they compare our results to other builders and publish our reviews on the web for clients and potential clients to view. This is just one more way for our clients to verify the type of company we are, and provide us feedback to help us improve.
Watson Children’s Shelter
Watson Children’s Shelter is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing environment for children who are victims of abuse, neglect, abandonment or family crisis. Children ranging in age from infant to 14 years old are brought to the shelter for many reasons. Often they have experienced trauma due to physical abuse, sexual abuse, abandonment, or family crisis with nowhere else to go and they are typically are brought in by police or social workers.
We are proud to help support their mission, providing a safe place for children in need.
Vistage Missoula
Vistage is a peer-to-peer membership organization for CEOs, business owners and executives of small- to mid-size businesses. Here in Missoula, we are happy to be affiliated with a dynamic group of business professionals who share our values of Trust, Caring, Challenge, and Growth. We participate in monthly peer group meetings where members offer each other agenda-free advice and challenge each other to take courageous, thoughtful steps to become better leaders, make better decisions, and achieve significantly better results.
